This is a full-time position for a pharmacy technician or pharmacist assistant.   The position is available immediately.      

The ideal candidate will have experience in community pharmacy, with a keen interest in compounding.   Any experience in extemporaneous compounding would be an asset, but not essential.   In-house training will be provided for those without extensive compounding experience. 

Knowledge of Simplicity Plus software or a similar dispensary software system is essential.   Duties include product ordering, inventory control, expiry date management, chemicals ordering and dispensary management. 

We are an innovative community pharmacy with particular focus on disease management, health outcomes and customized therapeutic solutions.   Our facilities include private counseling area, Home Healthcare department, compounding facilities and Microsphere Lab for aseptic formulations.  

The successful applicant would be expected to work a rotation of evenings and Saturdays.    There are no Sunday or holiday shifts.    The position is permanent and available immediately.  Remuneration is competitive and negotiable dependent on experience, technical certifications and/or any other post-graduate  qualifications.
